Therapy
Life is wild, and so are you.
For reasons of individual and/or collective trauma, gender, racial or familial expectations, your innate wildness may have been silenced by your family of origin, your community and/or the culture. But the drum in your belly, the heartbreak in your spine and the sometimes paralyzing loneliness you feel is not made up. You are not crazy. You are not broken, and therefore you are not a problem to be fixed.
I specialize in holding people while they move through the sticky middle place, the crossroads between what was and what will be, who they were and who they are becoming.
The catalyst into the middle place is different for everyone-for some it’s the death of a person, for others it’s the ending of a relationship or unexpected change in the one they’ve committed to, a move to a new place, a shift in identity or some other wake up call that whispers (or yells) “things have to change”.
