About Grace

Welcome, fellow human.
You are not alone.

Portrait of Grace Harman, therapist, in a bright red wedding dress, sitting in front of a big beautiful tree

I was born and raised in Philly, and after ten years spent living in other cities and countries it is my deep pleasure to provide therapy in this wild city that rooted me and formed the foundation of who I am. I believe that the therapy space is sacred, and that the therapeutic relationship is a generative ground for healing. My attention to the sacred (and the) body comes from my early training as a dancer, my masters level training in Dance/Movement Therapy and counseling, my time spent living and working in Lesotho, Southern Africa and my studies of yoga and meditation. I am in devotion to the wild (grief, rage, joy) that we all carry in our bodies, and I am honored to witness my clients access their own internal rooting that supports the fullness of their authentic expression. I practice therapy and life from an anti-racist, decolonized, feminist, LGBTQIA allied lens, and  will always uplift the ways that both systems of oppression and systems of community support impact the well-being of the people I work with. When I’m not holding space for others, I’m laying in the grass, painting to music, lifting weights, dancing, traveling and spending time with my partner and beloved friends. For the astro babes, I am a Cancer sun/Aries Rising/Sagittarius Moon.
